SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot in early beta on Aug. 11, pitching persistent AI agents that can take on work across the software employees already use. For anyone considering SpaceXAI Grok Bot access, the important detail is that the system needs credentials for the apps, files and websites involved, and those resources are shared among every Bot on the same account.
SpaceXAI says users can message named Bots as they would a colleague, assign a task and grant access to the necessary tools. The Bots run on a persistent cloud computer, allowing them to keep working while the user is away and return when they need approval or have completed an assignment.
What can other Grok Bots on the same account access?
According to Grok Bot’s documentation, all Bots within one account use the same cloud computer. That means they share files, browser sessions and app logins. The security boundary is the account, rather than each individual Bot.
In practical terms, a login or file added to that cloud environment should be treated as available to every Bot on the account. SpaceXAI says the arrangement lets Bots hand work to one another and operate in parallel without repeated setup, but it does not create separate access controls for a sales Bot, an operations Bot or an engineering Bot.
That distinction matters for teams delegating work involving inboxes, customer records or internal systems. The documentation tells users to review approvals, security and privacy before giving Bots access to sensitive systems.
How Grok Bot is meant to work
SpaceXAI says each Bot has access to a browser, filesystem and terminal on its cloud environment. The company says that enables Bots to operate websites and applications even when there is no clean API, or application programming interface, for a formal software connection. Instead, the Bot can use the interface in a way intended to resemble a person working in the application.
SpaceXAI also says Bots can retain context and learn repeatable processes. A user can have a Bot follow a multi-step workflow, save it as a routine and run it later on demand or on a schedule. These are company descriptions of the product’s capabilities, rather than independently verified performance results.
The company’s examples include a sales Bot adding call-transcript notes to a customer relationship management system and preparing follow-up messages; an operations Bot processing invoices received in Gmail and helping set up new hires; and an engineering Bot reproducing a product-interface bug, filing a ticket and passing work to another Bot.
What is known about reliability and availability?
VentureBeat reported that SpaceXAI did not release benchmarks measuring Grok Bot’s performance on agent tasks. That leaves potential users without disclosed comparative data on how reliably the system handles longer assignments across workplace software.
SpaceXAI says beta access is available to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS. Enterprise users can join a waitlist. The product’s pitch is delegation across real workplace tools, but its design means the permissions decision is as important as the task a user hands over.
