Meta earnings call Kalshi markets are pointing retail investors toward two themes to watch after Wednesday’s close: cloud computing and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The odds are not guidance from Meta, but they show what traders on the prediction market platform expect management to talk about when the Instagram and Facebook parent reports results.

Kalshi’s “mentions market” lets users trade on whether a specific word or phrase will be said during an event, such as an earnings call or speech. In this case, traders put roughly 90% odds on Meta management saying “cloud” during the call, according to CNBC, with the market showing 91% as of Tuesday noon.

That focus lines up with a recent Bloomberg report that Meta is working on a cloud infrastructure business that would sell access to raw computing power. For investors, the mechanism is straightforward: if Meta can rent out unused or purpose-built computing capacity, it could turn part of its heavy artificial intelligence spending into a revenue-generating service.

What is Kalshi saying about Meta’s earnings call?

Kalshi traders also expect Meta to bring up its smart glasses push. CNBC reported that the market assigned a 74% chance to Meta saying “Ray-Ban,” the brand tied to its smart glasses partnership with Ray-Ban parent EssilorLuxottica.

Meta introduced a lower-priced smart glasses model last month with EssilorLuxottica, according to CNBC. Smart glasses are a consumer hardware bet for Meta, sitting at the intersection of cameras, AI assistants and wearable devices.

Traders were less certain that Meta would discuss its chip work. The Kalshi market gave a 61% chance that the company would use the word “silicon,” CNBC reported. In earnings-call language, “silicon” typically points to custom chips, which companies use to lower computing costs or improve performance for AI and other workloads.

One of Meta’s largest infrastructure projects may get less airtime, at least according to the market. CNBC reported that odds for Meta mentioning “Hyperion,” the name of its rural Louisiana data center project, were roughly one in four. The outlet previously reported that Meta’s Louisiana data center investment had reached $50 billion as part of its AI push.

Will Meta talk about social media policy?

Kalshi traders appear to expect Meta to spend less time on social media regulation. CNBC reported that traders saw only a 15% chance the company would mention “age verification,” even as the U.K. has become the latest country to pursue restrictions on children’s use of social media.

The market also put low odds on Meta mentioning Kalshi itself or prediction markets. CNBC reported traders saw a 20% chance Meta would use the terms “prediction market” or “Kalshi.” In June, reports said Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had directed staff to build a prediction market platform, and NPR later reported that Meta had at one point held talks to acquire Kalshi.

Prediction market odds can move quickly and reflect trader positioning, not certainty. For Meta shareholders, the useful takeaway is narrower: traders are expecting the company’s call to center more on AI infrastructure, cloud ambitions and smart glasses than on policy fights or Meta’s own reported interest in prediction markets.

CNBC disclosed that it has a commercial relationship with Kalshi that includes customer acquisition and a minority investment.
